According to the BOP website, Don Siegelman’s current residence is in Oklahoma City, OK.
Still on the move: His odyssey may have begun when he had the audacity to win the election back in 1998, or perhaps it was the lottery defeat or the surreptitious nature of having votes changed in the second election. Or maybe it was the first indictment or the second one, or the long primary-spanning trial followed by the verdict and a three day sentencing hearing. It just went on and on and on. But the sentencing wasn’t the end of it. First he was shipped overnight to Atlanta, and then off to points unknown in another midnight move, kind of like their sneaking Al Capone around or like their dragging him through the streets of a nation in an endless perp-walk. His lawyers say that he is destined for Texarkana, but he is now apparently housed in Oklahoma City.
Since the sentencing, he has traveled 900 miles in prison vehicles, and if his final destination is Texarkana, it’s not over yet. It’s not over yet, but the drums are getting louder all the time.
They should just let Don go on home, He has paid a big enough penelty having to sit in a cell with a Rat for that many days 23 hours a day is pay enough for anyone.. Free Don
